Don’t wear underwear a size too big.

blue polka dot underwear

Why? Bc you’ll get too comfortable. When you make too much room for negative things in your life, you give yourself permission to fill them. Think about the extra big clothes you bought, and suddenly found yourself fitting after a while. Yeah...

You know when you sit at the dinner table in those comfortable sweats and eat your life away, and then your belly expands into the extra elastic in those sweats?

Well…that’s kind of how life is.

You see when you make room for something, you are more likely to use the extra room. If you bought a 5 bedroom house, and you were a single person, you wouldn’t just use 1 bedroom, and leave the other ones’ completely empty, would you?

No, you’d likely find some use for the other rooms. A guest room, a game room, a room to lease…you’d find a way to use it. Even if you accidentally start to spill your closet over into the other rooms…you’ll use it.

Well...Same goes for that extra space in your underwear…While you might not intend to use it, you end up using it anyway. Filling that extra space up with fat. So…I say all this to say, pay attention to the extra room you have in your life. Then examine what you are allowing to fill the extra space with. Is it with negativity? Drama, stress, gossip, self-sabotage, mental abuse…What are you letting into your space?

If you don’t have room to fill it with things that will grow you, you need to go back to the store and get your size, dear. I know. But I’m just keepin’ it real, here. You need to know. The only thing you should be making extra room for, is everything you want. Usher out the things you don’t want and wear your size.

Make sense?

Good.

Now put ya’ big girl panties on, and carry on 😉.
