What triggers you? Where do your triggers come from?

Why am I asking this? Is this important?
ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY!
Think its not? Well let's take a look shall we?
Did you know that when you know why you are triggered, you have the power to stop it? Let’s say that when you get hungry, you start getting irritable. Everyday at 2 o’clock, you start getting snappy, at work. If you don’t know that hunger is the trigger, you might get a little snappy on the wrong day, while your boss is triggered too…
Mhhmm. You see what I mean?
So...if you KNEW that hunger was your trigger, you can bring a small snack, or bring back a smoothie from lunch to finish off for the rest of the day. This decreases your stress level for the rest of the day, and also can save you a job or two!
So, now do you see what kind of power I’m talking about? Okay, then…let’s carry on.
Now that you have the keys, let’s unlock the doors to opportunity, that you’ve been missing out on.
Yes. You. I’m talking to you, dear.
Okay, so what have you been sabotaging because of your triggers? Are you unable to have healthy and happy relationships with others? Are you unable to have relations at all? Fired from jobs in the past? Inelligible for a better job? Bad spending habits? Unable to control your compulsions?
Whatever the weather, identifying your triggers can help you handle anything in life. Usually before a strong emotion comes, a trigger is present. If you know what it is, and how to fight it, you will be able to conquer anything.
Just a little tip for today, to help you along your way…to the land of milk & honey…I hope you take it with you.
My Challenge To You
I challenge you to identify your triggers. When and why. Then challenge them. How will you deal with your trigger differently, than you have before? How will this impact your life for the better? Now start chipping away on up the mountain to the Promised Land. See ya there!
With love and milk,
Chan at the [BOG].
